Côte d'Ivoire has always been a hub and a platform for major continental and international Cevents.This year 2022 has witnessed more than ten large-scale events including the CEO Forum, the forum of Employers of Francophone countries, the conference of Côte d'Ivoire National Economic Funds - PND resources, the EU-ECOWAS Business Forum. Our country will be hosting the Africa Soccer Cup of Nations, the CAN 2024.
It is with a great pleasure that the Ministry of Economy and Finance, as the supervisory body of the Ivorian Association of Chartered Accountants, supported Côte d'Ivoire's candidacy to organize the 7th Africa Congress of Accountants (ACOA 2023) in partnership with the Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA).
As usual, the Ivorian government stands with the Association of Chartered Accountants of Côte d'Ivoire to make ACOA 2023 a complete success and an unforgettable experience for all delegates from the 54 African countries and around the world. The delegates will experience the Ivorian AKWABA, with ACOA 2023 hosted for the first time in a Sub-Saharan Africa French-speaking country.
The theme on structural transformation of our economies of this 7th congress aligns perfectly with the program of the President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, His Excellency, Alassane Ouattara, "an inclusive and cohesive Côte d'Ivoire" and it is natural that the Ivorian government put professional accountants as a key player of that structural transformation.
Our commitment is both to the holding of this major continental event, ACOA 2023, and to the promotion of the profession at the national and international level with the support of the whole Ivorian government and under the leadership of its Prime Minister.
